Kia ora,
Mental Health Awareness Week is an important time in everyone’s calendar as it helps raise awareness around this critical issue.
|
At UniMed we believe Mental Health and Wellbeing needs special focus, and we’re committed to providing practical ways to help those struggling with anxiety, depression, and stress.
One in four Kiwis will struggle with a mental health challenge in a given year and COVID‐19 is adding to the challenges we face. That’s why we’re delighted to announce our partnership with Clearhead, a digital mental wellbeing service that delivers the convenience of online or in person therapy.
We’re even more delighted to tell you that we’re offering all our members three, fully‐funded sessions with a therapist of their choice.

UniMed will fully‐fund up
to three therapy sessions between
1 October 2021 – 31 March 2022.
|
Clearhead provides 24‐7 support with over 250 therapists across the country. You can choose to have your session online or in person, professionally designed to reduce stress, handle anxieties, manage your moods, sleep better, and live a happier life.
Depending on availability of your preferred therapist, an online session can significantly reduce wait times and allow you to choose a time in the privacy of your own home. If you have family on your policy, they can access this service too. We will fund up to three sessions to the value of $215 per session for a psychologist and $120 per session for a counsellor.
Please make sure you have your membership number handy to book the sessions. You’ll find it at the top of this email.
We’re here for all our members and to ensure more Kiwis can access the support they need. Even if your symptoms are mild, please don’t hesitate to reach out and talk to someone who can help today.
